October 24th: Releasing Fear
Two of Pentacles & Master Buddha

Two of Pentacles & Master Buddha ~ Increased Awareness
A lot of our shadow side has been rising to the surface to be acknowledged and released, during these past few months. We can no longer move forward on our current path, if we are held back by the “illusions of fear” we have created in the past.
The first step in releasing these fears is identifying them. However, see them through the eyes of self-forgiveness and acceptance. Do not judge yourself. That is the balancing act of the week: to acknowledge your fears, but not get lost in them. Getting pulled into or reliving your fears won’t help you navigate the release of them. It’s important that you look at them from an outsider’s view. Pretend that your fears and issues are that of a friend. What advice would you give? How would you help them? Now apply it to yourself.
Next, understand that this discomfort won’t last forever. It’s temporary. It may seem like it will never end, especially if you clear one fear only to have something else pop up. But as long as you do the work, the tension, fear or anxiety will release leaving you feeling lighter and more uplifted.
Also, reach out for help. You don’t have to do this by yourself. Call on your Tribe—friends or family— to help. Therapy, whether traditional or otherwise, can be a great help in understanding what is triggering these feelings, too. Call on Buddha to help you with awareness—awareness of spirit self, of ego and of your environment. Buddha can help empower you to make the changes that are necessary right now. Taking time to intentionally connect with Buddha during your meditation will not only help you enlist this spiritual back up, but you may find the solutions you have been searching for suddenly emerge after the silence and centering of meditation.
Crystal Helper For the Week: Rose Quartz
Rose Quartz helps to release emotions that are no longer serving you. It enables self forgiveness and acceptance, while fostering self-love. Use this stone during meditation, place by your bedside while you sleep, or carry it with you to remind yourself that you are on a journey of healing and self-acceptance.
