November 13th: Endings and New Beginnings
Endings and New Beginnings
The Sun & Freya: Phases and Cycles
November 14th Weekly Reading
The Sun & Freya On so many levels it’s no surprise that Freya showed up in this week’s reading. She works closely with the moon, which is a full super moon — the largest since 1948. She also represents the maiden, mother and crone which helps us to all more fully understand feminine wisdom and to navigate those waters, for they are unknown to some.
But most importantly, she speaks to us of endings and new beginnings. The world is embarking on a new cycle. We have known this for a while, but now that the ending is near and the change is happening, it may not be how you expected it would play out. It may have left you in fear or anger or anxiety. Freya tells us to not be afraid. She reminds us that life is changing, whether we want it to or not. We need to see the potential in what has started already.
The beauty of this is that the energy of Freya is combined with that of The Sun.
The Sun: the luminous, light giving, life giving ball of energy. The Sun reminds us that it is important this week, more than ever, to allow yourself to shine. Allow yourself to look toward the light. Allow yourself to see beyond your shadows, your fears. If you only look up, you will be able to the way forward, for The Sun lights your way. Leave behind what isn’t working for you. Walk away from the shadows and step into this Light.
It’s your responsibility as a human being/body of light to make choices based on light this week. You have an option you can feed the dark, the fear, the gunk or you can feed the light. Which one will you chose? I can tell you that feeding the light is infinitely more productive for everyone involved.
Stop and think before you speak, post or judge this week. We are all doing the best we can. Instead of feeding the fear, chose to be a spark of light for someone’s soul fire. Chose to rise above and illuminate the way forward for everyone.
