Living Your Truth

Living Your Truth

Morning Reflections

You can’t make someone change their truth. It’s all they have known up until this point. You can’t even make someone see “The Truth”. That’s not your job—leave that one up to the Divine. If they aren’t ready or not there yet, they won’t understand it or see it even if it appears obvious to you. No matter how hard you try—and if you attack them head on they will never hear what you have to say.
So what can you do? What you can do is live YOUR truth to your fullest ability. If you can do that, then on some level people will meet you. On some level they will recognize that glimmer of light. On some level they will shift a little up.

First, though, you need to figure out what your truth is. So rather than hash it out on Social Media, take a step back. Take time today to really think about what you believe and WHY you believe it. Sit with it. Let it roll over you. What does it feel like? Does your truth still fit who you are and where you are? Perhaps, it has changed a bit. Re-evaluate it. Then decide how you are going to live it. What changes need to be made in your life to allow your truth to be fully incorporated. Then make those changes. That’s how you heal yourself and that’s how you help heal and shift those around you—not with arguments or confrontation or anger, but with you shining your own light bright for others to see!
