Your Gifts Matter
Your Gifts Matter
Adventures in Mediumship
This week I did free mini oracle/tarot readings on my Facebook page. Each person who requested one was given a reading about what one of their gifts is and why they chose to incarnate now in this time. I love doing this kind of stuff. Why? Well because sometimes, I feel powerless when things in the world fly into chaos. It affects me on two different levels: The Human Level and the Intuitive/Lightworker Level. The Human Level wants to take action and do something—reach out, fix it, help, make everything better. The Intuitive/Lightworker in me realizes that there is nothing to fix. It’s all a beautiful breakdown, awaiting an even more spectacular rebuild! But how can I tell that to people? Well I actually do say that to people and a lot of the time they look at me like, “lady you are crazy”. “How is this chaos and anger a good thing??” Because it allows us to really see ourselves—all of ourselves— and with this insight we are allowed to heal and grow.
So back to the whole free oracle/tarot reading: why do free readings? Because it balances my Human Level need to do something with my Lightwkrker calmness/zen. By moving others out of a state of confusion and fear even if it's only for the brief moment when they are reading the writing, I am healing both them and myself. I am helping, both them and myself. They become inspired and want to go out and do the same. They have, in this case, a better understanding of a gift that they can share with the world. They can see how special they are. And because of that, their light grows brighter. I helped to do that. I used my light and helped their light so they can go and help someone else— and that’s how the spectacular rebuild begins. One light at a time.
So even if you aren’t a reader or an intuitive or a healer, you can get out there and do something kind and from a place of love. You have the power and the ability to help someone’s light get brighter every moment, every second you are on this planet. Don’t waste that gift—a gift we all have. It doesn’t have to be a big action or a big donation. Small matters. In fact, small matters the most. So when you’re feeling like the world is falling down all around you—go buy that stranger a coffee, hold open that door, help your neighbor with their lawn, smile at that person who seems sad. These are small things that make a huge difference in the world. You make a huge difference in this world. One person at a time. One light at a time.
