The Star Reversed, The Knight of Cups Reversed, The King of Cups
As a global collective, we are undergoing a huge amount of change in a very short period of time. It’s uncomfortable. It’s ugly. It’s necessary. Basically, change sucks sometimes. The trick is to not get so overwhelmed with it all that you get frustrated and feel like your efforts aren’t making a difference or you give up and quit all together. This week, loss of hope is going to be our’s and our global community’s greatest challenge, as events continue to pop up that make it appear like the Light has gone out. It hasn’t and you have the power to do something about it.
Each one of us has the power within to bring back hope, if we chose to do so. It might be difficult, but we can’t give up. We need to keep trying. What does that mean? It means that no matter how bitter, ugly, gross or hurt a person or situation is, we need to reach down inside and find compassion. We need to set judgment aside. Don’t label these events good or bad because that hinders you’re ability to really see them for what they are: Soul Lessons. Remain curious about what each person and situation are trying to teach you. You don’t have to condone what they are doing or even understand it. You just have to be open to the idea that a spark of Light or miracle lies in each challenging situation.
So, your part in this is to dive deep. You aren’t going to bring hope back by changing the person or situation. They only way you will being Light back into the world is by looking at yourself first and understanding what knowledge is held in this experience for you. You’ve got to go into those dark, cold waters of yourself that you like to avoid and really see what’s down there. Why is this triggering YOU? Why are YOU angry? Why is YOUR hope diminishing? When you learn something, the collective learns it. The wave ripples out from your heart and shifts everything and everyone around you. You heal yourself, you heal the world.
Focus on yourself this week. What’s been bothering you? Take a long, hard, honest look at it. Maybe draw some cards on it or mediate on it. Go for a walk in nature and let it roll around in your consciousness. I’m going to draw some cards for myself and the journal about it. For me, writing unlocks floodgates. Bring that stuff to the surface so it can see the light of day. It’s for everyone’s highest and best to do so. The brighter your Light can shine, the brighter the World’s Light can shine.
The deck used today was the Mary-El Tarot by Marie White, published by Schiffer Publishing.
