Energy and emotions are very heightened this week. It’s really important that you take care of yourself, so that you don’t go into Empathy Overload. What is Empathy Overload? It happens when you don’t pay attention to what your emotional landscape is vs someone else’s/the collective’s emotional landscape. You get bogged down with all of these feelings that you can’t really separate. You start to become stressed and overwhelmed and before you know it—you’re spinning out. It may make you want to jump in and “fix” everything that is “broken”. Spirit says: Stop. Take a step back. Take a deep breath. 

The first step is to figure out where you end and other’s emotions begin. Ask yourself: Is this mine? It probably isn’t. If you’re really angry, but nothing has happened to make you angry, then it’s something you’ve picked up empathically. Or perhaps something DID happen to make you upset, but your level of upset-ness doesn’t match the intensity of what actually happened. It’s about taking time to take stock of your actual emotional landscape—not your perceived one.

Every thought, feeling, intention weaves the web of our life. If we carry around all of those feelings and emotions from others, we inevitably weave that energy into our lives. It’s in your highest and best today to release this extra baggage. Then come up with what you DO want to weave into your life. How do you want to feel as you move forward this week? Calm, grounded, loving, safe? It’s your choice on what you weave your web out of. Pick a clear intention for the week of how you want to feel and stay focused on that. Take some space and take a salt bath to clear out other’s junk. And allow Spirit to help you weave the new intention into being.
