Day Nine: "Humanity is an Ocean"

It’s been so easy to lose faith in humanity this past month. So much hate, anger, and fear floating around out there. Just when you think you’ve got a glimmer of hope, another story/picture/meme/news article douses it and you have to start all over again. It’s hard. It’s really hard to be a human being right now.

Yesterday, I happened upon this quote by Ghandi, “You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean: if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.” This was so what I needed right now: Perspective.

Day Five: Peacefulness is a Choice

Believe it, or not, being peaceful is a choice. It’s all about how you approach things. It’s about how you are able to see the potential in all situations—whether they are easy or challenging.

There’s a lot of people spinning out right now. Maybe they are angry or afraid or anxious, but it’s during these turbulent times, that it is extremely important to choose to move into a peaceful state.

However, I’ve also seen love, kindness, compassion, and understanding. I’ve seen Lightworkers pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and start posting positive things, inspiring things, and hopeful things.
